Batonz.com is a family owned business that is operated out of Maumee, OH by Charles and Erin Clark doing business as The Clark Group. We created the web site to supply high quality gift & presentation batons, conducting batons and imprinted batons to our customers around the world.

We are an exclusive seller of conducting batons crafted by National Baton Company out of New Berlin, WI. For over 60 years, National Baton Company has been the baton of choice for literally thousands of conductors. Symphony conductors, band leaders and choral directors specifically request the National Baton because it is consistent in quality, balance and weight. Conductors have reported experiencing less fatigue with NATIONAL conductor batons due to their extremely light weight and balance.

Continuing the Legacy 

National Baton Company was founded by our late grandfather, Arthur "Papa" Zahorik and is now led under the guidance of our father, George Zahorik.

Arthur was band director at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, WI in the early 1940's when he started making his own conducting batons. The batons he was using at the time were not built well, were inconsistent from one baton to the next and were relatively expensive. Initially he started making conducting batons just for himself and a few close friends. As word spread and he started getting more requests for his batons he started selling them through various music dealers in the late 1940's.

Since then, National Baton Company has produced over 1 million batons for customers including major symphony orchestras and world class conductors around the globe.

Throughout the years, Arthur and his sons have added to the product mix and modernized the manufacturing processes. One thing that hasn't changed is the passion for the business and the commitment to quality and excellence in every baton they make.
